Sediment can build up in the bottom of your water heater. This should be checked and cleaned on a regular schedule. FIRST turn off the water heater and allow the water to cool to prevent personal injury. Attach a garden hose to the lower value on the heater to allow the water to move to a safe area. Open the value and allow 4 to 5 gallons to run out. Close value, remove hose, and restart heater per manufacture's instruction
